Dr. Li Pu teaches broadcast journalism, TV field production, and international journalism, among other courses. She is the faculty advisor of WSRU-TV. Before coming to SRU, Dr. Pu worked as TV news reporter/editor and produced a daily news program in China Chongqing Television . She received her doctoral degree at University of Oregon. Dr. Pu's research interests are media economics and management, Chinese media studies, globalization of media, communication policy, and comparative studies of television news.  Dr. Pu received her Bachelor degree at Southwest University of Political Science & Law in China.
