Prospective Students

Students majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice must maintain at least an overall 2.50 grade point average (4.00 scale) for all coursework taken at the University, along with at least a 2.50 for courses taken in their major and minor fields of study. Students must complete 120 credits to graduate.  Internship credits may be earned in the Criminology and Criminal Justice program.


As with all Slippery Rock undergraduates, individuals majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice are required to complete a number of courses in the Liberal Studies Program. These course requirements lie outside the student's major field of study, and are designed to encourage the development of intellectual insights and skills that will enable the enjoyment of a lifetime of learning.

at The Pennsylvania State University, Schuylkill.
