The Department of Safety Management offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety Management. Safety Management involves protecting and preserving people, property, productivity, and the environment. The Safety Management Major at Slippery Rock University is an Institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM) Board appproved Degree Program.
The department's professors help bring each course to life with their outside job experiences, allowing students to further understand the true meaning of safety.
