SPOTLIGHT

Our Bachelor of Science program has a more structured, professionally oriented curriculum designed to prepare students for advanced training in biology, including graduate school, and health careers. The approximately 30 different courses in the major that are offered directly by the department provide rigorous training in both basic and advanced biological concepts. Most courses offered by the department include a specialized laboratory experience taught by department faculty. Each of the following degree options are available through the Bachelor of Science - Biology.

Major Field Test will be adminstered March 29th at 5:00 p.m. and includes two 60 minute sections.

Attention all prospective spring, summer, or fall 2013 biology graduates: you must register for the Major Field Test (MFT) in the department office. This will be your only opportunity to complete the MFT graduation requirement during the 2012-13 academic year or fall 2013.
