Our Bachelor of Science program has a more structured, professionally oriented curriculum designed to prepare students for advanced training in biology, including graduate school, and health careers. The approximately 30 different courses in the major that are offered directly by the department provide rigorous training in both basic and advanced biological concepts. Most courses offered by the department include a specialized laboratory experience taught by department faculty.
