Mark Shotwell teaches Genetics every semester, and for the last several years has taught Principles of Biology in the fall semester. He has also taught several courses for non-majors, including Introductory
Biology Lab and General Biology. His interests include plant genetics, genetics pedagogy and social and ethical issues in genetics. He also devotes considerable time advising Lambda Sigma, the sophomore honor society. His outside interests include baseball, Civil War history and music of all kinds.
