Dr. Kimberly Smith

Experience:
Kimberly Smith earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She joined the faculty in 2006 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Exercise and Rehabilitative Sciences teaching Measurement and Statistical Applications in Exercise Science, Exercise Leadership: Group Fitness, Wellness Promotion & Programming, and Internship supervision. Dr. Smith holds several certifications including ACSM-HFS, NSCA-CSCS, and AFAA-Primary Group Fitness Instructor. Her current research interests include obesity, weight management and physical activity and she enjoys maintaining an active role in several ongoing student/faculty research projects.
