Resistance Training Workshop provides the opportunity for our Exercise Science majors to participate in resistance training education in a safe and welcoming environment.
Our weekly series of hands-on sessions are taught by our experienced, dedicated student workshop coordinators. In addition to developing a strong foundation in the basics of free weight barbell exercises, which are a mainstay of our programming, our coordinators are constantly looking to introduce much of the new and exciting variety that makes strength and conditioning such a dynamic and enjoyable pursuit.
Recent series have included kettlebells, battle ropes, core stability, plyometrics, mobility and flexibility, weighted carries, and suspension training (to name a few).
With a wide range of participants, from beginners to advanced lifters, the only question that remains is… are you ready to join the resistance?
