The Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) prepares selected undergraduate students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide care to athletes and the physically active within the five domains of athletic training practice. The Slippery Rock University Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (http://www.caate.net/). Students fulfilling the total 120 credit hours of academic program requirements will graduate with a bachelor of science degree and a major in athletic training.
