Mrs. Kelly (Previs) Reedy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Ashland University in Ashland, OH. Upon graduation in 2009, Mrs. Reedy earned a Master's Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Georgia Southern University. While at Georgia Southern, she was the graduate assistant and sole athletic trainer for Women's Cross-Country, Women's Track & Field, Women's Swimming & Diving, and Men's & Women's Tennis. At this time, she also served as an ACI/Clinical Preceptor for the Athletic Training Education Program. Mrs. Reedy's master's thesis was entitled "Concussion and Gait", which examined gait patterns of athletes compared with their non-concussed peers after they are diagnosed with a concussion.
After graduating from Georgia Southern University in 2011, she worked as an outreach athletic trainer for ProCare Health & Fitness, Inc. at Everett Area High School in Everett, PA. Upon leaving ProCare Health & Fitness, she married Joshua Reedy, Head Athletic Trainer at Butler High School in Butler, PA. In July of 2012, Mrs. Reedy was employed by Tri Rivers Surgical Associates, Inc., working with a variety of orthopedic physicians and physician assistants.
Reedy is entering her first year at Slippery Rock University starting January 2013. She provides medical care for the Men's and Women's Basketball teams, as well as Men's and Women's Track & Field.
Certified Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification, and as a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Mrs. Reedy is also certified in Graston, a massage technique.
A native of Bethel Park, PA, a suburb of the greater Pittsburgh Area, Mrs. Reedy resides with her husband, Joshua Reedy, and their precocious Westie, Bingley.
