Recipients of Research Experiences for Undergraduates

The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supports active research participation by undergraduate students in any of the areas of research funded by the National Science Foundation. For information on the program, click here.

  • Ranae Kowalczuk, 2001, did research on the Matanuska Glacier, Chugach Mts., in Alaska through Augustana College

  • Danielle Fishel, 2002, worked on the Matanuska Glacier, Chugach Mts., in Alaska

  • Joselyn Hohenwarter, 2003, did research on Adirondack watersheds through SUNY Plattsburg

  • Erin Heffron, 2003, Digital Mapping and Strain Analysis, University of Southern Maine

  • Rebecca Hromiko, Effects of CO2 on Arabidopsis thaliana, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Kansas

  • Matt Domeier, 2005, magnetostratigraphic work in Alaska
