On September 22, 2011, the MS3 class attended the 9th annual Port of Pittsburgh-Ohio River Watershed Cruise aboard the Gateway Clipper. The cruise was an opportunity for watershed groups, energy conservationists, environmental professionals, government organizations, businesses, industries, and interested citizens to network and learn from each other. The AASHE (Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education) Conference will take place October 9-11, 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA. The theme of the conference is creating sustainable campuses and communities by focusing on the interface between community and campus collaborations. Ten SRU students were sponsored to attend the Student Summit on Sunday, October 9th, including MS3 students. Pictures coming soon!
