It’s a great time to be at Slippery Rock University! And now, more than ever, is a great time to join SRU’s Nursing Department to take part in our distance learning opportunities.

My schedule appears to be non-stop, as I’m sure yours is as well. Participating in our online RN to BSN or School Nurse Certificate programs allows you the opportunity to complete your degree without missing a beat of your work, family, or social life.

If you are interested in taking your training to the next level, register in our RN to BSN program. This 30 credit program provides you the skills and knowledge you need as a BSN professional while still offering you the flexibility of online classes. For those interested in gaining additional nursing experience, our School Nurse Program offers Pennsylvania certification to any RN with a BSN. Students are guaranteed certification upon successful completion of 21 graduate credits, which includes a 100-hour practicum experience.

SRU’s online education programs are terrific for those working a full- or part-time job or maybe a stay-at-home mother looking to eventually advance in her career. We offer you the advantage of making your own schedule. Though this type of learning does not suit everyone, we hope it’s a perfect fit for you!
