Program Goals:

The Slippery Rock University baccalaureate nursing program prepares
professional nurses to provide health care to persons, families, and groups
in a variety of settings, using the nursing process.  The curriculum is designed
specially for RNs with an emphasis on managed care, leadership skills, and
technology.  In addition, students receive a strong educational foundation upon
which to build graduate study.

professionals in an environment that supports the needs of adult learners in
addressing the health care issues of the global community.
