Jess Kloecker graduated from SRU in May 2010 with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and is now a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist(CTRS). Jess is the current Assitant Director of the equestrian center. Jess is also one of our NARHA Certified Instructors.
At the age of seven, Jess started horseback riding, and attended many horse camps. Jess is NARHA certified and is one of the tremendous teachers for our Equine Assisted Activity Program. Jess was recently able to have her original game "Go Graze" presented at a national NARHA conference in Fort Worth, TX. "Go Graze" incorporates a combination of riding skills and social skills into an Equine Assisted Acitivity lesson. It is similar to "Go Fish."
Outside of teaching, and riding Jess enjoys Soccer, Motorcross Racing, participating in Track and Field (high jump), Fishing and Camping.
Jess's favorite horse at Storm Harbor is Casper because he is sweet and obedient.
