CHILDREN’S WORKSHOP WITH THE JAMMIN DIVAS

The Jammin Divas will take you through an exciting journey exploring the history of different cultures through stories, songs and dance! You will be able to get up and dance with them, sing with them and even play some of their traditional instruments! Plus we have included ‘call and response’ with some jazz and improvisation so you can clap, sing and stomp with us! Recommended for ages 7-11.

JAMMIN DIVAS

The Jammin’ Divas perform stunning renditions of traditional and contemporary original folk music from Ireland, Australia, Israel and the USA. Through beautiful three-part harmonies set against the plush melodic landscape of the flute and double bass, The Jammin’ Divas draw the audience into an experience that transcends four continents’ history by sharing songs and stories of how each country culturally influences and enriches another. Tickets are $20 adults, $18 seniors, $15 youth, and $8 students. Presented by the SRU Performing Arts Series.
