Stanley Murishage

Stanley Murashige (PhD, University of Chicago) is Associate Professor, Art History, Theory, and Criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His research and teaching interests range from the philosophy of Chinese painting and calligraphy, to Buddhist Art, the aesthetics of architecture and garden design in China and Japan, and to contemporary art in Asia. His work has been published in the Encyclopedia of Chinese Philosophy and Monumenta Serica.
