SRU Music Therapy Clinic
We are pleased to announce the opening of our on-campus music therapy clinic beginning Fall 2012. On September 27, 2012, the Council of Trustees will officially rename Swope 103 to the "Sue Shuttleworth Music Therapy Clinic" in honor of Dr. Sue Shurttleworth, who founded the SRU Music Therapy Program in 1977 and retired as Director of Music Therapy at SRU in 2009.
Mission Statement
The mission of the SRU Music Therapy Clinic is to provide (a) high quality music therapy services to indivdiuals, groups, and organizations with diverse needs in the Slippery Rock area, (b) excellent clinical training for music therapy students at Slippery Rock University, and (c) high quality on-site supervision for music therapy students.

Our Facility
Our music therapy clinic has state-of-the-art recording equipment, a one-way mirror & observation room, and a variety of music instruments including pianos, a drum set, and wide range of percussion instruments.
