Two SRU Music Therapy, Kristen McSorley & Megan Neil, presented their collaborative faculty-student research with Dr. Hadley & Dr. Hahna at the AMTA Conference in St. Charles, in Fall 2012.

Three SRU Music Therapy Students, Annina DeBerardinis, Brandon Mace, & Ashley Taylor, and one SRU MT Alumna, Sara Sculio, presented their research at the 2012 MAR Passages Conference in Scranton, PA in Fall 2012.

Dr. Hadley was selected to represent the College of Hummanities, Fine, & Performng Arts as one of four finalists for the 2011-2012 President's Excellence in Teachnig Award.

Dr. Hahna presented at two national conferences--The Expressive Therapies Summit in New York, NY and The American Music Therapy Association Conferene in Atlanta, GA in Fall 2011.

Two SRU Music Therapy Students, Kristen McSorley & Megan Neil, were awarded a Grant for Student Scholarly, Creative, Entrepreneurial, or Civic Research Projects in Fall 2011.

"Music Major for a Day" will be held at SRU on Monday, October 24, 2011. High School Seniors are invited to register and attend.

Dr. Hahna's joint publication, "Feminist Music Therapy Pedagogy: A Survey of Music Therapy Educators" is in the Fall 2011 edition of the Journal of Music Therapy.

The SRU Music Therapy Club--along wtih The President's Comission on the Status of Women, The Women's Studies Program, The Women's Center, and The Music Department--sponsored a Benefit Concert to support The RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network) Foundation on March 16th at 7:30.
