Pi Sigma Alpha: is the National Political Science Honorary. The Gamma Lota Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha at Slippery Rock is open to Slippery Rock University Students of sound character who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Political Science. A student is eligible for membership if he or she satisfies the following requirements at the end of the fall semester: 1) Completion of credits designated for junior status (invitations and initiations will commence at the end of the sophomore year), 2) Completion of 10 semester upper-division Political Science credit hours, 3) Student has a minimum grade point average for all undergraduate work at all institutions of 3.3; a minimum grade point average at Slippery Rock University of 3.3; and a minimum grade point average in Political Science of 3.3. All students are welcome to attend our meetings and events, even if ineligible for official membership.
