Dr. Love holds a doctorate in Human Development Counseling, a Master's in Counseling Psychology, and specializes in addiction counseling. He has held a variety of positions in the addiction field, serving as a Drug and Alcohol Therapist, Drug and Alcohol Family Therapist, and Program Director of a hospital specializing in chemical dependency treatment.

Dr. Love served as an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator at Vanderbilt University where he supervised interns in Nashville, Washington, D.C., and New York, N.Y. He taught courses in Career Development, Foundations of Employee Assistance Programs and Substance Abuse, Senior Thesis, and Practicum and Internship Seminar. Dr. Love's research interests include children and adult children of alcoholics, relapse prevention, food addiction, and employee assistance program utilization, nutrition and addiction, and impaired faculty.
