Biography: Courtney is the director of Storm Harbor Equestrian Center. She has been at SHEC since August of 2006. Courtney graduated in 2000 from Slippery Rock University with a  degree in Therapeutic Recreation and is a certified therapeutic recreation specialist. Courtney was active in the University's Intercollegiate Equestrian Team while in college at SRU, and is the current hunt seat team advisor.

Courtney has owned horses since she was 7 years old and has been competing on the hunter/jumper circuit rated and local for many of those years. Courtney enjoys working with numerous hunter/jumper instructors in clinics and lessons to continuously improve her riding skills.

Prior to working at Slippery Rock University, Courtney worked at George Junior Republic in Grove City, PA working with youth at risk in their equestrian program. Courtney has always loved working with horses and helping people!
