Dr. Robert F. Bost has been a faculty member in the Special Education Department since 1978. He earned his undergraduate degree in Special
Education and Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University. He completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Duquesne University. Dr. Bost began  his career as a special education teacher at Mars Elementary School and has also been an adjunct professor at Duquesne University. At Slippery Rock he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Special Education as well as a post-bac course in Cthe School Nurse certification program. Dr. Bost has served as a faculty member and coordinator of our special education campus laboratory school, as chair of the Special Education Department, and as advisement coordinator. Dr. Bost has presented numerous in-service programs on classroom management and co-teaching in western Pennsylvania schools.
