Dr. Patrick Grant is a member of the Special Education department for over fifteen years.  He holds two bachelors degrees in Art and Speech and  Drama from Lincoln University in Missouri, a master’s degree in Special education from the University of Oregon in the areas of mental retardation  and physically handicapped.  Dr. Grant earned an additional master’s degree from the University of Oregon in Counseling with a specialty in family and child counseling and also earned a doctorate degree in Special Education with a focus on Special Education administration.  He has a post doctoral studies certification in Public School Administration from Portland State University and holds administrative certifications in the states of New York,  Pennsylvania, and Oregon. Additionally, he is a likened teacher at the secondary level in the state of Missouri. Dr. Grant has several years of teaching experience at universities located in New York City, Jacksonville, Florida , San Francisco and Oregon.  While at Slippery he has taught graduate and undergraduate courses and supervised student teachers both in Pennsylvania and Ireland.
