Academic Records and Summer School

The office of Academic Records and Summer school can assist you with ordering transcripts and transferring credits.

Office for Students with Disabilities

The Office for Students with Disabilities is available to any enrolled Slippery Rock University student having a documented disability.  Slippery Rock University makes every effort to accommodate and serve students with disabilities to help them in their quest for academic success.  The Office for Students with Disabilities provides students with reasonable accommodations and services to ensure equal access to education as intended by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.  Appropriate accommodations are individually based upon identified need.  Services include assistance with, but are not limited to, the following disabilities:  learning, physical, hearing, vision or psychological.

Student Life

The goal of Student Life is to assist in the total development of each student by providing appropriate, life-centered educational programs and services. Primary concerns focus on helping students to develop leadership skills, decision-making competencies, self-discipline, respect for others, skills of self-evaluation, and the learning and development of social responsibility and human relations skills.

SGA Bookstore

The SGA Bookstore offers students a complete selection of course books, paperbacks, quality school supplies, imprinted sportswear, greeting cards, gifts, and a whole lot more.  They also offer Microsoft Office 2007 Professional for $10.

Career Services

The Office of Career Services at Slippery Rock University seeks to complement the academic programs of the university by assisting students in developing, evaluating, initiating, and implementing career plans. Visit the Career Services website for information on topics such as interveiw preparation, job fairs, discovering a career, and building a resume.

SRU Library Online

SRU's Bailey Library has many services for off-campus users and distance education students. Click the link above for access to online journal articles and databases, request photocopies of print articles, and to borrow books by mail.
