How do I know who my advisor is?
If you have selected a major program, an advisor will work with you to determine which basic requirement courses and major courses you should register in. (Additionally, you will select courses from the Liberal Studies Program.) Many major programs do not begin until the sophomore year.
If you have not selected a major program, an advisor from the exploratory program will advise you on which basic requirement courses you will need to take this fall and how to make choices from the Liberal Studies Program. The exploratory advisor will assist you in selecting courses from the Liberal Studies Program which will help to develop your interests.
Before you register...
Students must make an appointment with their advisor before their assigned registration date to go over their My Rock Audit Report and develop a schedule for the upcoming semester.Students must see their advisor to get their RAC code before they can officially register for classes using MySRU.
