The Office of Career and Education Development at Slippery Rock University seeks to complement the mission and academic programs of the university by promoting career education and professionalism among students, alumni, faculty, staff, and employers with whom we engage. Our services are developmental, to be fostered among stakeholders in a continuum, beginning with their first engagement with the university. We seek to build relationships among our stakeholders through an engaging array of learning resources, events, and activities; through these, we seek to promote identity, confidence and self-reliance among learners while supporting the workforce-related economic needs of the region served by the university.
Becoming SRU's recognized resource for career development education and professional relationship development among all constituents.
The Office of Career Education and Development carries out its mission and will strive to attain its vision by demonstrating presence, patience, persistence, enthusiasm, attentiveness, and a dedication to the learning of our stakeholders, as well as ourselves and our co-workers.
