Alaska Teacher Placement
  • Sponsored by the University of Alaska at Fairbanks, the ATP is a source of information about obtaining employment in Alaska. ATP sponsors several job fairs each spring allowing teacher candidates to meet with prospective school employers.
American Federation of Teachers
  • Among the information provided by AFT is an excellent report on teacher salaries including state-by-state average salaries and beginning salaries.
Great Schools.Net
  • An objective source of information on elementary, middle, and high schools. A nonprofit organization, GreatSchools.net provides information about public, private and charter schools in all 50 states.
Mid-Atlantic Association for Employment in Education
  • This site provides links to a number of school and college homepages in the Mid-Atlantic states (MD, VA, PA, NJ, NY, VA) as well as a list of education job fairs.
