* Non-Resident Tuition Discount

Slippery Rock University offers an out-of-state tuition reduction program.  In 2014-15 for example, this program will provide a tuition savings of approximately $3,350 for eligible students. First time undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on the final high school transcript (freshmen) or college transcripts (transfer student) may qualify for this discount which results in annual net tuition and fees estimated at $13,000. Continuing undergraduate students who have a 2.5 cumulative SRU GPA at the start of the fall semester may qualify for this tuition reduction. A separate application is not necessary; eligible students will be billed at this special tuition rate through the Office of Student Accounts.
