Federal financial aid, including loans, is only available to eligible students enrolled in one of SRU’s degree (bachelor's, master's, doctorate) or teacher certification programs. 

·      Students who are enrolled at SRU as “special” students are not eligible for financial aid. 

·      SRU students who are registered as “transient” students may be eligible for financial aid consideration.  Transient students should contact the SRU Financial Aid Office and speak with a director to discuss potential federal or non-federal aid options.

·      Students who are enrolled at SRU as “visiting” students are not eligible for financial aid through SRU.  Visiting students should contact their “home” school’s financial aid office to learn of aid options and processing requirements.
