Abbass Alkhafaji Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Management (School of Business)

Criteria: |
Preference will be given to management students who have exemplified excellence and mastery in the major. In addition, business students who show an interest in global commerce and international studies will also be considered. Applicants must be full-time students with at least 60 credits and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Applicants must submit an appliation, a letter of interest including a paragraph describing your qualifications, and a resume. The applicant must attach a current MyRockAuditpage showing the applicant's name and GPA. By submitting the application, the applicant agrees that, if awarded a scholarship, (s)he will attend the free School of Business Banquet on Sunday, April 7, 2013 to receive the scholarship and will write a thank-you to the scholarship's sponsor. |

Criteria: |
A tuition/book scholarship for students majoring within the School of Business. Minimum 3.0 QPA is required and first preference will go to students working as part of work-study at SRU. Second preference will go to students working through outside employment. The applicant must attach a current MyRockAuditpage showing the applicant's name and GPA. Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing 50 credits at Slippery Rock University as a full-time student. First preference given to Mercer County residents. Students pursing a major in business administration will be given first consideration. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative QPA and meet financial need requirements.
