Abbass Alkhafaji Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Management (School of Business)

Criteria:

Preference will be given to management students who have exemplified excellence and mastery in the major. In addition, business students who show an interest in global commerce and international studies will also be considered. Applicants must be full-time students with at least 60 credits and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Applicants must submit an appliation, a letter of interest including a paragraph describing your qualifications, and a resume. The applicant must attach a current MyRockAuditpage showing the applicant's name and GPA. The applicant will be requested to write a thank-you to the scholarship's sponsor.

Ben Addison Scholarship

Criteria:

Applicant must have sophomore status at time of application, and be a graduate of a high school that serves Mercer County, PA students.  First preference goes to a student in the School of Business or Department of Computer Science.

Kurt Heinz Scholarship

Criteria:

A tuition/book scholarship for students majoring within the School of Business. Minimum 3.0 QPA is required and first preference will go to students working as part of work-study at SRU. Second preference will go to students working through outside employment. The applicant must attach a current MyRockAuditpage showing the applicant's name and GPA. The recipient will be requested to write a thank-you to the scholarship's sponsor.

Manocha School of Business Scholarship

Criteria:

The applicant must have an academic major within the School of Business and be enrolled full-time. They must have earned a minimum of 64 credits at SRU and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher. Financial need is also a requirement.  The applicant must attach a current MyRockAuditpage showing the applicant's name and GPA. The recipient will be requested to write a thank-you note to the scholarship's sponsor.

North Country Brewing Company Scholarship

Criteria:

This scholarship is for students who are in the Sustainable Enterprise Accelerator program of the School of Business. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a Sophmore standing or higher.

Dr. James E. Winner, Jr. Family Scholarship

Criteria:

Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing 50 credits at Slippery Rock University as a full-time student. First preference given to Mercer County residents. Students pursing a major in business administration will be given first consideration. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative QPA and meet financial need requirements. The applicant must attach a current MyRockAuditpage showing the applicant's name and GPA. The recipient will be requested write a thank-you to the scholarship's sponsor.

The Forgotten Man Scholarship

Criteria:

Economics or Finance Major with a minimum  of 30 completed credits. Enrolled full-time
Minimum 2.5 QPA. Must be a US Citizen. The applicant must attach a current MyRockAuditpage showing the applicant's name and GPA. The recipient will be requested to write a thank-you to the scholarship's sponsor.
