Brooker Scholarship

Criteria:

Exercise Science major who has earned 90 semester hours and has the highest GPA in the major/overall. The Exercise Science Scholarship Committee will request an overall/major GPA list to base their decision. This award is given during the spring semester and the recipient will be invited to the Spring Awards Luncheon.

up to $200

Sheila I. Drohan Scholarship

Criteria:

Full time student, a minimum of 3.25 GPA, has achieved sufficient academic performance, and demonstrates financial need. Continued enrollment in the Exercise Science degree program is required. The award may be renewed for a maximum of 3 years. This award is given during the spring semester and the recipient will be invited to the Spring Awards Luncheon.

up to $1000

Esther Lynne Geissel Scholarship for Athletic Training

Criteria:

Sophomore standing within the ATEP with a minimum of 45 completed credits.  Full-time student, accepted in the professional strand of the Athletic Training Major in good academic standing(3.0 GPA minimum).  Must demonstrate motivation and initiative in the didatic and clinical education environments.  Applicant must also demonstrate active participation in extracurricular activites/community service within and beyond the university.  No application process, students are nominated.

Dr. Bob Murray Scholarship

Criteria:

Full-time student, a minimum of a 3.25 GPA, has achieved sufficient academic performance, and demonstrates financial need.  Continued enrollment in the Exercise Science degree program is required. The award may be renewed for a maximum of 3 years. This award is given during the spring semester and the recipient will be invited to the Spring Awards Luncheon.

Gary S. Pechar Freshman/Sophomore Incentive Award

Criteria:

Full-time student, declaration of Exercise Science as a major, and good academic standing(2.75 minimum).  Student will be selected by an Exercise Science faculty/advisor based on class participation, involvement in the major and potential as an active professional. This award is given at the end of the Fall semester and the recipient will be invited to the Spring Awards Luncheon.

Fred and Mary Roby Scholarship ("Roby Scholars")

Criteria:

Full-time student, a minimum of 3.25 GPA, has achieved sufficient academic performance, and demonstrates financial need.   Continued enrollment in the Exercise Science degree program is required. The award may be renewed for a maximum of three years beyond the initial award. This award is given during the spring semester and the recipient will be invited to the Spring Awards Luncheon.
