Criteria:

Junior or senior Parks and Recreation major specializing in Park and Resource Management, Resort Recreation Mgt/Tourism or Therapeutic Recreation Services. Must have at least 45 credits and a 3.25 GPA at time of application. Financial need and involvement in departmental programs and activities are considerations.

Criteria:

Applicant must be a Butler County resident, full-time student. The selection committee prefers a student who is employed part-time in tourism or hospitality field. One recipient will be selected by the Parks & Rec Department and another will be selected by the Communications Department.

Parks and Resource Management Major, minimum of 60 credit hours, minimum of 3.00 GPA within the major courses at the time he/she applies for the scholarship, involvement within Parks and Recreation/Env. Educ. Department, experience with public and visitor services, and experience within the Park and Resource Management field.
