Off-campus housing gives graduate students varied residence options, including single- and double-occupancy apartments and townhouses. Most complexes are within a reasonable walking distance of campus or are serviced by SRU’s SGA shuttle. These complexes offer kitchens, kitchenettes, laundry facilities, private bathrooms, game rooms and outdoor recreation and picnic areas. Configurations and prices vary, as do the inclusion of utilities.
General Campus Information:
- The Student Government Association operates “THE SGA SHUTTLE” which stops in front of most off-campus housing complexes, on-campus facilities and the local grocery store.
- Regardless of where they live, graduate students may enroll in a campus meal plan. SRU’s two remodeled dining halls offer traditional, Mediterranean and international cuisine. The new Robert M. Smith Student Center provides a Quaker Steak and Lube Restaurant, Starbucks, a food court, commuter lounge and new campus bookstore.
- Also available to graduate students is the Robert N. Aebersold Student Recreation Center (ARC) where students may use the indoor pool, basketball courts, track, Russell Wright Fitness Center and climbing wall.
