The Institute for Learning In Retirement (ILR) at Slippery Rock University is a member-directed organization, providing lively learning experiences for mature adults who share a love of learning. The ILR is an affiliate of the Elderhostel Institute Network. The nominal membership dues cover as many classes in the ILR program as one wishes to take as well as other member benefits. The office and instructional site for the ILR is located at the Center for Lifelong and Community Learning in downtown Slippery Rock. Free and convenient parking is readily available.
