In order to be admitted to the SRU Honors Program, the following criteria are considered:

- A minimum high school GPA of 3.8 OR SAT scores of 1150 (CR + M) or 25 ACT
- A one-to-two page essay discussing why you want to join the Honors Program and what you hope to gain from the experience
- A resume of extracurricular activities, community service and leadership experience

The criteria for Scholarship consideration is:
- A minimum high school GPA of 3.8 AND SAT scores of 1200 (CR + M) or 26 ACT
- A one-to-two page essay discussing why you want to join the Honors Program and what you hope to gain from the experience
- A resume of extracurricular activities, community service and leadership experience
Because motivation and ability are not always measured by test scores, you are encouraged to contact the Honors Program director, if you are interested in applying but do not meet the stated guidelines.
