 Summer Honors Program 



Every summer, two students from the Honors Program participate in a three to four week Honors Program sponsored by one of the fourteen PASSHE universities.

The application process is a competitive one but well worth the effort, because those students who are chosen to participate attend classes for one to two weeks at the host university before departing for an international educational component where they link what they've learned on campus with field-based experiences.

Each student who participates recieves a full scholarship covering the cost of tuition, room and board, travel, and required field trips. During the international portion, a minimum of two meals per day are provided.


Recent PASSHE Summer Honors Programs have traveled to Oxford, England, Bermuda, Egypt and Belgium/France. Student participants describe the program as "life-altering," "utterly amazing," and "enriching beyond belief."  Summer Honors Venice, Italy
 Summer Honors Countries in the program are organized thematically and focus on a particular issue.  More information on the Study Abroad program is available from International Services.
