Local Public School Teachers Borrowing Privileges
Eligibility
All public school teachers, librarians, media specialists, and administrators from the following school districts are eligible for borrowing privileges at Bailey Library: Butler, Grove City, Lakeview, Laurel, Mercer, Moniteau, Neshannock, New Castle, Shenango, Slippery Rock, Union, and Wilmington.
Borrowing Cards
Participants must obtain a Bailey Library borrowing card by visiting one of the library's circulation desks and presenting a valid school district identification card. Borrowing cards must be renewed annually. No proxy borrowing is allowed. Cards do not include access to course reserves, interlibrary loan services, or remote access to commercial databases.
Checkout, Renewals, and Returns
To borrow materials, patrons must take their card to a Bailey Library circulation desk. Items that have not been recalled by another patron may be renewed up to three times--either in person at the circulation desk, over the phone (ext. 2637,) or online. To renew online, simply follow the instructionson the library's web site.
An item in circulation may be recalled at the request of any SRU student, faculty, staff member, or administrator. Recalled materials should be returned immediately in order to avoid overdue charges.
Borrowed items should be returned to the library or placed in the book drop to the right of the main entrance on or before the due date.
