Established in 1970, the Slippery Rock University Foundation, Inc. serves as the fundraising arm of Slippery Rock University. The Foundation is an institutionally related, tax exempt, nonprofit, 501(C)3 organization. It is the repository for all gifts to Slippery Rock University.
The Foundation is an active partner in the University's mission and works to achieve a margin of excellence for students, faculty and community in an environment of reduced public funding. In recent years, annual giving to the Foundation has exceeded $3 million and is resulting in a successful capital campaign to raise $33 million in ten years.
