The annual Senior Dance Concert, Magnum Opus, will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Swope Music Building.  Two concerts, 2:00 and 5:00, will feature senior dance major choreography, as well as  commissioned dances by guest choreographers Lindsay Fischer of Butler, PA and Helen Simoneau of North Carolina and New York.  The concert will feature modern, contemporary and jazz dance.  Tickets are $8 general admission and $6 for students with ID, and can be purchased from the Information Desk at the Robert Smith Center.  Will call tickets can be claimed one hour before show time at the Swope Music Building.  A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase (cash only) at the door.

Bridgman/Packer, Guggenheim Choreography Fellows, will present “Truck”  - their ground-breaking work that places art in unusual spaces.  Acclaimed for their innovative integration of choreography and video technology, Bridgman/Packer magically populate the inside of a 17-foot truck where image and reality collide.  Performances take place at the Miller Auditorium loading dock and include a pre/post show reception at the SRU Alumni House where the audience can experiment with an interactive video installation.  Tickets are $10 students and $15 general.  Shows occur every 30 minutes at 9pm, 9:30pm, and 10:00pm.  Buy Tickets

The Slippery Rock University Program Board is proud to present country mega-star Lee Brice with special guest Chase Bryant along with The Cadillac Three. This show will be live in concert on Friday, May 1st, 2015 at the Aebersold Recreation Center (The ARC).  Lee Brice is widely known as not only an award winning musician, but also a master writer and lyricist. The South Carolina native earned his rise to the top through his Billboard top hit songs “I Don’t Dance,” “Drinking Class,” “Hard to Love,” and many more! Openers for this show include the popular country trio The Cadillac Three and country newcomer Chase Bryant.  Doors at the ARC will open at 5:30pm and the show will begin at 6:30pm.  Tickets are $20 for Slippery Rock University students and $40 for the general public.  There is a limit of 4 tickets per transaction.  All ticket holders must be 18 years of age or older to attend this event.  Buy Tickets
