Naloxone (NARCAN) Training at Slippery Rock University


Naloxone (NARCAN) training will be offered Thursday December 7th from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at Slippery Rock University in the Russell Wright Alumni House. This is a FREE training open to the community. The training will be hosted by Butler County Drug and Alcohol and Prevention Point Pittsburgh.

The training, conducted by Sarah Danforth from Prevention Point will include:

• Statistics
• Opiate epidemic
• Signs and symptoms of overdoses
• How to administer NARCAN
• Distribution of NARCAN to attendees
