Slippery Rock University's adapted physical activity program partnered with the Special Olympics' Interscholastic Unified Sports program to host students from eight area high schools for the IUS Bocce County Championship March 2 at Morrow Field House. The IUS program, which Special Olympics launched in 1989, intermingles students with and without disabilities on sports teams in an effort to build inclusion among both parties.
