Slippery Rock University mascot, Rocky, had a ball March 25 taking part in the annual UPMC Children's Ball at Heinz Field to support the Matilda H. Theiss Child Development Center. The event, dubbed the "DinoBash," saw kids - young and old - enjoy activities including: building their own dinosaurs, face painting, inflatable skee ball, karaoke, balloon sculptures, miniature golf and a princess hair salon. In addition to visiting with Rocky, families were able to take photos with a variety of princesses and superheroes, as well as having the opportunity to meet "Spiney" the dinosaur, a 10-foot-tall, 15-foot-long mechanical puppet.
