SRU’s online master’s degree in special education earns top 25 ranking

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's online master's degree in special education has been ranked among the top 25 programs in the country by bestcolleges.com.

Best Colleges partners with highereducation.com as an online resource in providing prospective students with direct connections to universities and programs suiting their educational goals.

"Through proprietary research, we build user-friendly guides and rankings that lead students of all ages on their personal path to a college degree," said Jillian King, college outreach coordinator for Best Colleges.

"With over 1,200 public & nonprofit universities offering courses online, SRU's online special education program has set itself apart as one that has helped set the standard for distance learning."

SRU offers a quarter of special education concentrations, including: autism, birth to grade 8, grade 7-12 and school supervision.
