SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's Center for Student Involvement Volunteer Corp will host an "All Night Bowling" event from 7-11 p.m., Oct. 22 at the SRU Ceramic Studio.

All students, faculty and staff are invited to join the Volunteer Corp in painting ceramic bowls that will be used at the University's annual Empty Bowls program, Nov. 5.

The bowls are sold to attendees who enjoy a meager lunch of soup and bread. Participants then take the bowls home with them. The event is intended to increase awareness of local hunger issues. All proceeds from the event will be donated to a local food pantry to help subsidize the cost of turkey dinners.

There is no need to pre-register to participate. For more information, contact Megan White at leadership@sru.edu.
