SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's music department faculty will present their 7th annual Faculty Collaborative Recital at 12:30 p.m., Oct. 12 at SRU's Swope Recital Hall.

"We really enjoy the opportunity to get together and perform pieces we might otherwise not get the chance to play. For example, I am looking forward to performing Ian Clarke's work, "Maya," for two flutes and piano with Cassandra Eisenreich and Glenn Utsch."
The recital will include:
-"Prelude No. 1 in C Major" by York Bowen and performed on piano by Glenn Utsch, assistant professor of music.
-"Maya" by Ian Clarke and performed on flute by Cassandra Eisenreich, instructor of music, and Melago, with piano accompaniment by Utsch.
-"Cinco Canciones Populares Argentinas" by Alberto Ginastera and performed on piano by Nanette Kaplan Solomon, faculty emerita, with vocal accompaniment by Colleen Gray, professor of music.
-"Steam" by Chelsea Komschlies and performed on piano by Eisenreich and clarinet by Candice Kiser, instructor of music.
