Saturday’s SRU vs. IUP match to be televised nationally

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Slippery Rock University's football game against Indiana University of Pennsylvania Saturday will be broadcast live by PA Sports Fever and shown to a national audience.
Kickoff is set for 6:06 p.m. at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
The game will be carried live on local cable by WPNT-TV (Channel) 22 out of Pittsburgh (108 HD).
It also will be shown live on ESPN3, the WatchESPN app and via the ESPN College Extra package. All fans with Amazon Fire TV and the Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One will be able to stream the game to their television through the ESPN app.
The game is also SRU's annual "Salute to the Military" day and all current members of the military, veterans and their families will be admitted free to the game with ID. They should enter through the student entrance.
Fans are encouraged to come out to the stadium early to enjoy displays and demonstrations by SRU's Army ROTC cadets from 4-6 p.m. in the Mihalik-Thompson Stadium parking lot. Seneca Valley High School's Junior ROTC program will be featured at halftime. Special "SRU Salute to the Military" t-shirts are available for $5 from the SGA Bookstore.
