McKay named to All-PSAC Field Hockey First Team

LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- Slippery Rock University field hockey standout Megan McKay was named to the 2015 All-Conference first team, as announced by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Thursday afternoon.

McKay, a junior from Reading, Pa., earned her first All-PSAC honor after starting in all 16 games and leading The Rock in goals and points this season, averaging 2.11 points per game.

This season, McKay recorded 38 points to bring her career total to 55, which broke SRU's 27-year-old record for career points set by Marlene Hall (51) in 1985-88, as well as the single-season point record set by Lindsay Brown (33) in 2013.

McKay also scored 16 goals this season to break SRU's 39-year-old record for single-season goals set by Audrey Davison (15) in 1976.
