Arnhold receives Edith Trees Charitable Trust grant

Robert Arnhold, Slippery Rock University professor of physical and health education, has received a $50,000 grant from the Edith Trees Charitable Trust to assist with the planning and implementation of the Rock Life program.

The program is a postsecondary education experience for students with intellectual disabilities and other developmental disabilities, including autism, that provides supplemental learning in the areas of job training and independent and healthy living skills.

Established in 1976, the Edith Trees Charitable Trust provides funding solely for programming that supports the care and welfare of children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.
