Glover serves as jazz festival guest conductor


David Glover, Slippery Rock University associate professor of music, served as one of three guest conductors at the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 5 Jazz Festival hosted by the University. Jason Kush, SRU associate professor of music, served as festival host.

The event featured 54 area high school students that were placed into three ensembles. The trio of units received advanced performance skills instruction before coming together for a group concert.

Other guest conductors included: Matthew White of Coastal Carolina (Myrtle Beach, SC) University and Neil Kind of University (Morgantown, WV) High School.
