Carpenter featured in Big Ten Network video

B. Stephen Carpenter II, a 1987 Slippery Rock University graduate with a bachelor of fine arts degree in visual art, is featured in a new video from the Big Ten Network.

In the video, Carpenter, professor of art education and African American studies at Pennsylvania State University, discusses his unique approach to water filtration through the use of clay pots in order to educate students about health issues, filtration benefits and the role of the ceramic arts in preventing waterborne disease in underdeveloped countries.
